Principal's Message

Warm greetings to one and all!

I am reminded of P .B. Shelley’s famous line, “If Winter Comes, Can Spring Be Far Behind?”
Spring is in the air, ushering the vigour and vitality of life; the perfect setting for students who are taking their annual board exams. It’s time to ascertain one’s dedication and sincerity towards what one has learnt through the year. It is also time to reward oneself for all the efforts put in, as the hard work of all the industrious days is about to bear fruits. I am sure and confident that our students of P C S are well motivated and prepared to give their best. Your school along with the hard work of well experienced teachers has been accompanying you through the teaching learning process, motivating messages and talks, counselling sessions and personal support.
Dear students, not only your school and teachers but also your parents and guardians at home have been providing a peaceful, nurturing and conducive environment for your studies. An inspiring thought from your mother, an encouraging word from your father and a positive belief about your ability can work wonders. Do not forget to take their blessings before you set out to your examination centers.
Keep a balance of the following four elements of success during your exam:

STUDY WELL: Choose a quiet fixed study place with all your reading material handy and organized. Take short breaks in between.

EAT WELL: Have 3-4 small meals a day, more of fruits, nuts, dairy products, vegetables and salad. Dry fruits make a super energizer. Drink plenty of water regularly to ward off lethargy. A hydrated brain learns and recalls better. Stay away from junk foods and aerated drinks.

SLEEP WELL: Ensure 8 hours of sleep per day. A good night’s sleep is essential to make sure your body and mind is rested and fresh for the next day. Minimize on nighttime study.

PRAY WELL: Prepare your best and let the Almighty do the rest. Practice meditation and relaxation. Entrust yourself fully in the hands of the Almighty.

Above all, media and mobile phones should go into hibernation because the best way to relax and refresh can be a brisk session of skipping rope, cheery chat with family, a walk in the nearby park or simply sleep off the study fatigue.
My dear students have faith in your potential and learning. Believe in your hard work and dedication. I have confidence in you and your abilities. Face the exam with ease and fearlessness. Give your best, success for sure is yours. Wish you all a fulfilling examination time.

Thank you and God bless!
Sr. Jyoti Thomas
